Con la conclusione dell'ottava stagione di Grey's Anatomy tutte le fonti di notizie si sono zittite. Certo la rete pullula di topic in cui si discute e si ipotizza quello che succederà nella nona stagione, se gli autori troveranno un modo per far restare tutti i dottori a lavorare al SGMWH o se invece ci ritroveremo a quando tutti hanno concluso il loro dottorato. Ci si domanda se il commento di Shonda "non è detto che tutti torneranno nella nona stagione" sia stato detto solo per mantenere alta la tensione nel pubblioco o se invece dietro le quinte ci sono ancora dei contratti da rinnovare o dei contratti che la ABC vuole annullare.

Comunque gli autori e gli attori sono in vacanza, i primi riprenderanno il lavoro verso Luglio ed a metà dello stesso mese dovrebbero riprendere anche le riprese. Per tutto questo tempo tutti sono in stresso silenzio stampa, nessuno dice niente sia perché non vuole sia perché non puole.
Comunque penso che fino ad Agosto difficilmente si avranno delle notizie ufficiali sulla nona stagione.

Grey's Anatomy: qualcuno ancora non è al sicuro

Sappiamo per certo che Lexie non è sopravvissuta all'incidente, ma a metterere maggiore tensione ci pensa Shonda stessa la quale ha dichiarato che non è garantito che i superstiti dell'ultimo episodio della ottava stagione saranno vivi anche nel primo episodio della prossima stagione. Adesso non sappiamo se questa frase sia stata detta semplicemente per mantenere alta l'attenzione o se invece ci sono ancora alcuni contratti che devono essere rinnovati e quindi la sorte dei personaggi è legata ad una firma su un pezzo di carta.
Se è vero che durante questa pausa altri attori potrebbero lasciare il cast di Grey's i più quotati dai fans sono Eric Dane (Mark) e Jessica Capshaw (Arizona) anche perché gli attori che interpretano i restanti  dottori coinvolti nell'incidente hanno rinnovato per altri due anni. Fra i due comunque quello che i fans danno più probabile tra i morti è Eric Dane perché il personaggio di Mark, ora che Lexie non c'è più, non avrebbe un vero e proprio scopo nella serie, a parte cullare ogni tanto la figlia. Inoltre in molti ripetono che la stessa Jessica Capshaw ha confermato che sarà presente nella prossima stagione. 
Bisogna però precisare che al momento sembra che l'unico che abbia confermato di persona il rinnovo per altri due anni del contratto sia Patrick Dempsey (Derek). Non mi stupirei se i giornalisti, avendo avuto la conferma della firma da parte di alcuni attori, avessero dato per scontato che tutti hanno firmato e rinnovato.
Anche l'attrice Sarah Drew(April), pur non interpretando un personaggio in pericolo di vita, sembra inserita nella lista dei possibili abbandoni, nessuno si capacita di come si possa trovare il sistema di mantenere April al SGMWH nel momento in cui è stato dichiaratao che non ci sono fondi per pagare un chirurgo che non ha ancora superato l'esame
